The RHS may tell you that there's no such thing as Eucomis pallidiflora but I beg to differ. The description given for E. comosa generally applies but you could not confuse the 2 as photographs that will appear on this site will prove. For one thing the leaves are very different and the flower spike is closer to the more familiar E. bicolor than the gherkin-like dome of E. comosa.
