This is a Brugmansia from the 'cold-group', that is those species from higher in the Andes that tend to have smaller, less highly scented flowers but have a wider more vivid colour range. Something very similar to this plant is regularly sold as B.'Cordata Red' but this name is not recognised by the Brugmania Growers International so we have chosen a generic name giving the colour and reflecting its parentage from the wild species B. sanguinea and B.vulcanicola.

It is more tolerant of shade and cold than the warm group Brugmansia but is no fan of winter damp.

Available in various sizes at Plant shows and Fairs.
